I love the storyline that you described. It's totally my cup of tea. It seems like an emotional, romantic and dramatic(in a good way) tale which I am very much looking forward to read.

Reading the snippets from The Prodigy Slave, Book One: Journey to Winter Garden by Londyn Skye, it is a gripping book. I am eager to know how James's and Lily's friendship turned out. Did his father find out? I can't wait to find out.

Although painful as it may sound, stories about slavery and racism always remind me of how critical it is for me to be alert not to engage with either of them in modern times--every single human being has the potential to make the world a better place for everyone else.

Usually when I chose to read a love story, I am looking for some easy romance and definitely not search for troubled plots, which raise unpleasant social issues and hard topics of human history. Unfortunately, I will have to skip this book, but would like to congratulate author anyway!

James and Lily's friendship appears to be complicated, and I'm eager to see how it unfolds. Additionally, I find it unfair that Jesse's brother is blackmailing him.

Fans of historical romance novels will find today's BOTD engaging and well-written. Readers will be pulled in by the well-developed characters, and the moving storyline will keep them turning pages. It's not the one for me, but I appreciate the helpful review. Thank you! :-)

The Prodigy Slave is a story set in the period when slavery was still common. It is a story that involves romance where two men, James and Elijah fights for her affection. Congratulations on BOTD.

What an intense emotional journey! This book definitely has a whole lot more to offer than just romance. Fans of this genre would love to read this series. Lily's musical journey gives a nice twist. But I don't enjoy sexual content. Thank you for your insightful review.

The Prodigy Slave, Book One: Journey to Winter Garden" by Londyn Skye sounds absolutely riveting. One way or another, there is still a form of slavery going on in our society today - racial, social, political, or mental, they all exist among and within us. Experience the pains of slavery, forbidden friendship, blackmail, and love through the life of Lily in this timeless piece.
Londyn's book is emotive and enlightening. A book not to miss!
