Setting "Intercessor" against the backdrop of a storm-brewing New Orleans, it is a compelling blend of mystery, religion, and surreal horror. The story addresses forgiveness, faith, and miracles in the face of catastrophe through a complicated protagonist, foreboding warnings, and encounters that conflate fate and chance. Congratulations on being BOTD!

*Intercessor* by John Robert Still is a book about Jim Hampton meets Myriam, who begins to restore the faith of his childhood and makes discoveries that will change his life forever. The storm-turned-hurricane bears down on the city, and Jim relies on that faith to counter a murderous cult chasing him through the darkest corners of the French Quarter. This is a Great Read for Christian Mystery and suspense readers.

From Carlos to Myriam to Erin and Sheila,
He paid for their drinks and followed them to a supposed party just for the fun of it. But what he met wasn't a party at all but a junkie's apartment, where they wanted him to spend more money on drugs for them. When he refused and tried to escape, Erin said she hoped he would die, along with a woman. That was how what seemed to be tales and nightmares began manifesting. Who was Erin, and what did she mean by her statement? With Storm Anita brewing, are the people of New Orleans safe?
- Sounds Intriguing and I can't wait to read the rest. It was a captivating review. Thank you.

After accompanying Myriam home, he couldn't help the urge to get another drink at another bar. There, he met Erin and Sheila, who looked like free spirits who wanted some fun. Find out when you read Intercessor by John Robert Still.
I'm guessing someone hexed him.
I love a little supernatural in a good mystery! And New Orleans is the perfect backdrop for such a story.
Thank you for your review.

Sounds like a true mystery book, with each encounter adding value to the story. A hint of horror, a surreal ending, this review makes me curious about the book, I don't care for the catholic elements but it should also not disturb me.

I'm intrigued by the description of the book Intercessor from the review but I'm not curious to know more. It seems like a story that handles debates from religion and worldly issues with well-rounded and well-developed characters in a setting of mysterious events.

The beginning of the review had me thinking this was going to be a mystery, horror story, but I was surprised to read about how it entails the Catholic faith as most characters are Catholic. Not to mention the impending storm which approaches. And every person Jim meets, he is wary of, yet they all play some important role. To say I'm intrigued would be an understatement. I'll surely be having a look at it. Congratulations on BOTD

The book sounds intriguing. New Orleans has always been considered a mysterious city where strange things happen and the unexplainable and magic are part of its everyday life. Jim Hampton is the person who wanted to relax a little bit but got to deal with the dark forces unleased by the storm instead. It will be interesting to read this book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

The narrative is unique and explores faith. I strongly believe that the people we meet in our lifetimes are beyond mere coincidences. I enjoyed reading your analysis of this book. Thank you.
