The author’s vivid descriptions and ability to tailor his imagery to each story's subject matter make this book a captivating read. With a mix of historical, supernatural, and contemporary tales, Andersen crafts a variety of narratives that resonate on emotional and intellectual levels. Thank you for your review!

Thank you for your informative review on "The Cello Maker,” written by David P. Andersen. This book contains sixteen short stories spanning many topics and several years. Some are so believable I thought I was reading accounts of actual events. Each story conveys a message about life and how our actions impact others. I enjoyed the reactions to kindness. While reading the sample, I learned two of the stories have supernatural themes. Some are about love; others are about airplanes, whether radio-controlled or real. Some stories play out just after World War II, while others are set in recent times when computers are already in use. The author combined a fascinating selection of stories into one book. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

Reading the review for this book I couldn't help but smile when I read the statement quoted by the reviewer "“he sighed a small arpeggio of resignation,”." It sparked a flame of curiosity to check out this book. I have to agree with the reviewer on the aspect that when it comes to the computer language the author should have included the meanings of each of the abbreviations. Few people outside of programmers and others who work code will understand them and there by will find it confusing to understand which may lead to them skipping that story altogether. All in all, this sounds like the reviewer enjoyed the book.
