The craftsmanship of the cello maker is so fine that I can almost hear the music. Love is poured into the instrument with every stroke.

"I liked all the stories, but "The Ugliest Dog in Kilkee" was my favorite. It tells a story of great empathy, not only for other human beings but also for animals." Cultured review of The Cello Maker by David P Andersen.

As I see it, this book consists of a series of interesting stories and full of good stories that touch on topics related to daily life and the art of creating. Uniting and interweaving a lot of information in various areas. With a writing rich in fluidity and description. Good job #BOTD

'Although each story is unique, themes about the consequences of human interaction and superb craftsmanship are common to all.'
Short stories with deep meaning sound interesting.

This review offers a thorough and engaging insight into The Cello Maker and Other Stories of Creative People. I appreciate how you highlighted the variety of themes and styles across the sixteen stories, making it clear that there’s something for every reader. Your example of the phrase “he sighed a small arpeggio of resignation” from the story about the cello maker really captured the beauty of the author’s imagery. It’s also intriguing that the stories convey life lessons, particularly regarding human interaction and the impact of kindness.

I’m especially interested in the story "The Ugliest Dog in Kilkee" due to its focus on empathy, which feels so relevant and touching. However, I also appreciate your balanced critique of “The Invention of Voice Mail” and your comments about the abbreviations; those are details I’ll keep in mind when reading.

Thanks for mentioning the minor errors—it’s reassuring that the book was still professionally edited. Overall, your review has convinced me that this book is worth reading for its diverse and meaningful content!

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. I enjoyed the first story about the cello. The author described the workshop and the man perfectly. My grandfather had the same kind of workshop for making and repairing violins. I liked that the man pinged the wood shell to hear the sound as he was crafting it; I remember watching my grandfather do that.

Personally, I don’t enjoy short stories, but I can see the appeal. Mr. Anderson seems to be able to get his point across in a very short amount of time. Congratulations on BOTD!

Interesting, even though I usually don't select a short stories format, in this case, going by the description provided by the reviewer, it looks almost like each story is a small piece to form the whole more complicated picture. Congratulations with BOTD!

'Official Review: The Cello Maker and Other Stories of Creative People' by David P. Anderson vividly describes the collection of stories for readers. It helps us to read with perspective. The stories convey a message about life and how our actions impact others. Readers will gain information on topics not widely known, such as computer languages. They will enjoy reading how a simple task is turned into art as the worker puts his heart and soul into it. It was great to learn that the book contains important life lessons!
