This is a beautifully crafted collection of 16 stories that teach us how our actions impact others--that simple and at the same time so profound! I would love to start this engaging reading journey right away.

Thank you for your review. I also liked the story "The Ugliest Dog in Kilkee". I can feel the emotions from the story. The book is a fine collection for your shelves.

The review is detailed with clear explanation for the ups and downs. The best books that combine different topics as short stories, diversity is in the writers' favor. Maybe one story is preferable than another and this gives space to the reader. Congrats on BOTD

The manner in which David P. Andersen in "The Cello Maker and Other Stories of Creative People" was able to compile the various fascinating stories that teach life lessons in their own way is amazing and highly commendable. Congrats on being BOTD. Nice review.

This book features sixteen short stories covering many topics. Each story conveys a message about life and how our actions affect others. There are also some complex topics, such as computer languages. Sounds interesting!

I have no tolerance for antisemitic or racist terms may it be cause it was “used” at the time or not. For those who can, it might be a good read for the reviewer to give it a perfect score despite.

I only read the sample on Amazon and found the narrative of the first story "The Cello Maker" to be amazingly detailed to the point I felt like I was standing right in the shop with the old man watching him. It was a fascinating story of how he watched one of his creations go from being practiced on by a student, to being played in Symphony Hall by a girl who had become a great cellist. He took great pride in knowing he had created the instrument with his own hands. The second story ended mid-story but had piqued my interest. These short stories remind me of The Readers Digest stories in that they are able to be read quickly and are interesting. Congrats on being picked BOTD for the Online Book Club!
