Good book about decision making with historical consequences

Post by Salil Surendran »

I was wondering if somebody could suggest me some good books to read that would Reveal how world leaders make decisions that have historical consequences. for example How does a world leader decide whether he should go to war against a stronger enemy, Make decisions that would have a lasting effect on his legacy etc. I have a blinkist and audible membership so if someone could suggest audiobooks it would be better.

“Winston's War” By Max Hastings is an objective account dedicated to Winston Churchill’s time as Prime Minister of Great Britan during World War II. Hasting goes into great detail providing deep insights about Churchills mindset during this pivotal time in world history.

I would suggest reading Killing England: The Brutal Struggle for American Independence by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard. The narrative is told through the eyes of great leaders such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. You won't regret reading this book!
