Every child dreams of growing wings and flying around (or escaping their parents and school). Seeing their grandma grow bat wings and have a little flying adventure must be pretty exciting, even though there is no Aesop to be found.

The story centers on a grandmother who is a bat at night, flapping her wings and wandering around the house. The plot is straight forward and uses easy-to-understand vocabulary. In addition, the illustrations complement the narrative well.

Great review! I like that this book has plenty of dialogue so whoever is reading it to their child can do a bunch of cool character voices. 🥰

I'm wondering how none of the girls ever checked on Nanna at night. It seems to have a fascinating and unique plot. Congratulations on the book of the day.
