The story features a grandmother who transforms into a bat at night. She recounts her adventures to her wide-eyed grandchildren, and they can't get enough of her tales. The story is simple, engaging, and devoid of complex themes or conflict. It is, hence, suitable for the intended young readers.

Nanna recounts her adventures as a bat. She turns into a bat at night. Her grandchildren are eager to listen to all of her adventures. The straightforward nature of the story is something children will love.

Nanna must know what the neighbours donate night whenever she flies like a bat. She must have many stories to share with her grandkids.

This is an exciting read for children. A grandma shares her bat adventures with her grandchildren. The illustrations are colourful, and the expressions of the characters stand out. The dialogues are short and expressive.

Sounds like a delightful read for children. Though I'm a bit skeptical about why the nanny has to be a bat. I guess it makes the stories more intriguing.

This seems like a lovely book to just relax and unwind due to the lack of moral teachings and the light, fun adventure story. This review made the book seem like an amazing read and I can't wait to check it out further!

Not to offence my own grandmother, but she never was that exciting as one sounds) On a more serious note, the book indeed sounds delightful, combining moral lesson with adventure to help keep children's interest and pay attention to valid points. Definitely going to get is as a gift for the kid of my friends and congratulate the author on BOTD!

Aging is a natural process, along with skin sagging and becoming loose, so how do you explain this to your grandchildren? This is exactly what is asked of this granny, who tells a magical story about her batty wings and her adventures. Your review has beautifully captured the essence of the story. Can't wait to read and see the illustrations that you so well described.

Thanks for the review! As someone who loves fantasy, I believe a story about a grandmother who can turn into a bat at night would be captivating for young readers. The adventures to be had!

Hi @Lene Lena, I just read your comments on the official review of "Batty Wings". Since our goal to comment on the official review and sample is to motivate members to read the book. For example, "Batty Wings" by Marlene Rattigan is a book for children that has a grandmother called Nanna as the main character. Nanna is able to transform into a bat at night and fly around the house and she shares her incredible experiences with her grandchildren. The book is heartwarming and well-illustrated so it should be a wonderful book to read to my three great grandsons. It is a very simple story that includes 28 pages so it is easy to read to children in one sitting. Young children that have already learned to read will enjoy the short paragraphs and lack of big words that they may not understand. The book deserves the 5 out of 5-star rating. If an official review does not exist then one needs to read the entire sample before commenting. I have found it best to read the entire sample and then read the official review if one is posted before I comment. Just trying t help. @Mrlefty0706
