Maybe I am not understanding this at all. I signed on to review a book - Deceptive Calm- I bought the book via
Amazon Kindle, I guess you didn't want my opinion - that the book was poorly written and too many loose ends existed,
I guess I was just supposed to state how wonderful it was - it WAS NOT. So how do I clear things up? Start with some different book?
Email directly to a real, honest to goodness human being? Because if I'm just supposed to rubber stamp a big "Yipee!" on something is truly in need of some overhaul, I best bow out because readers don't deserve to waste money on stuff that might have potential but needs coaching for a rewrite.

Without seeing your review, I can't say what you did wrong to get it rejected. No, you do not have to say that the book was wonderful to get it passed through. Did you follow all of the guidelines? Did you start out with a brief summary of the book, and then state what you did not like about it? Did you include the rating of the book in your review? A lot of reviewers just start the review with what all is wrong with it, and continue through the whole review. Never stating what the book was about or not finding any little thing about the book that was good. Surely, there was something that you liked. One of the characters?
