This book sounds interesting. Your review gives me the impression that this may be similar to the "007" series and the "Mission Impossible" movies. I am referring to the one-man job to save the country, in this case, he is Derek. Your review does remind me how artificial intelligence is on the rise and can be used in almost any aspect of our lives. Now if artificial intelligence can predict the future like in this book, it would be cataclysmic for all of mankind because of our innate desire for control.

Sounds like Derek has a lot on his plate when it comes to finding the artificial intelligence device. The cover art for the book got my attention as well; it is eye-catching and gives the book a suspenseful feel. Thanks for the review!

The book seems like an adventurous drama with lots of action. The infusion of all these elements into a cybersecurity book makes it intriguing. I don’t get much from the review, but it leaves a lot to the imagination, and I look forward to reading it. I wonder why the author chose such a title for the book—I guess I’m about to find out. The title is rather odd, but everything else checks out. Thank you for the review, and congratulations to the author on being selected for Book of the Month.

"The Last Ark: Lost Secrets of Qumran" by Guy Morris plunges Derek Taylor into a high-stakes mission to recover a powerful AI that can predict the future, navigating treacherous encounters and deciphering cryptic clues left by a murdered informant. This action-packed thriller combines elements of espionage and technological mystery, keeping readers engaged as Taylor races against time to retrieve the SLVIA before it falls into the wrong hands.

Great review! You told us just enough to get us interested and the parts that you liked and disliked. It sounds like it will be a good book for those who are into sci-fi.

This book is very interesting because at first glance it urges you to believe that it will be about ancient myths, however it is about recovering an important artificial intelligence algorithm, and the whole story takes place over 83 chapters. Excellent choice #BOTD

Going by the title, I expected that this would be some super-adventurous story similar to Indiana Jones quests, therefore I was quite surprised to find artifical intelligence as the central character. But it is certainly interesting and very appealing. Thanks and congrats with BOTD!

The Last Ark: Lost Secrets of Qumran by Guy Morris seems to be a gripping crime/spy story. I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope that Taylor can fulfill his mission. Congratulations on the book of the day.

Por ter lido somente a amostra do livro, não consegui ter muitas informações, mas com o pouco que li, deu a entender que trata assuntos como, investigação de mortes e do que aconteceu com a IA (Inteligência Artificial ), e politica.

The review is thorough and well-written. The cover gives Indiana Jones vibe. But I feel the plot is different, artificial intelligence and hacking as modern adventure take place. Congrats on BOTD

I enjoy the types of thrillers that dig deep into ancient religious artifacts and events, such as the works of the late Paul Sussman. This novel seems to fall into the same category, and I think I will add it to my to-be-read list. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

Great review! It will be interesting to read this book. An action-packed thriller featuring virtual intelligence and a high-risk mission sounds intriguing. The topic of AI's potential is always fascinating to follow. How far off is this sci-fi story before this all becomes reality?
