Based on this review, this sounds like a really good read! As with life, each day brings new situations so the lack of closure on their relationship may just reflect the reality of it--is there ever really any conclusion or closure until the absolute end? I look forward to reading this book!

I am curious to find out why he ended up in prison after he joined the military to avoid it. Thank you for your review.

Congrats on BOTD.
The plot of "The Forgotten Soldier" centers on Curtis Dagley, who enlists in the military to escape going to jail following a horrific accident. His hardships, particularly during his incarceration, are depicted in the book with great detail. Although the plot is captivating, one hopes Curtis and Grace had more romance.

While I'm mot usually a big fan of military stories, something about your review pulled me in! I've downloaded my copy!

Filled with emotion, resilience, and courage, today's BOTD follows Curtis, an unsung hero, from his teen years through his days as a soldier and beyond. Readers will not only find Curtis' story inspiring, but also hopeful. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens when he goes to Poland, as well as what becomes of his relationship with Grace. Thank you so much for your awesome review! Bravo!

An interesting story of a person who served in the army to avoid jail can be found in the book "The Forgotten Soldier" by Dr. Angelique Barabara. The story follows Curtis Dagley who accidentally killed a woman.

Nice review! I got into the book right away in the sample pages. It seems like Curtis led a hard life. I'm interested in reading the rest of it and finding out how Curtis' story plays out.

The true life story of a man named Curtis who enlisted in the army to avoid jail time for accidentally killing a woman. However, fate still found him serving jail time during a critical mission. "The Forgotten Soldier" by Dr. Angelique Barabara evokes compassion. The story conveys the true sense of survival and hope. A great recommendation for military stories.

I didn't know jail time could be exchanged for military service. I am more eager to see more that evolves with Curtis' life. Wonderful review.

I'm not sure this book is for me as it seems too emotional for me and I'm not particularly into military/war fiction. Still from what I have read I can see that the book tells us about real courage, resilience, and redemption. I'm sure the book will its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
