This review gives a clear and emotional look into The Little Garage Girl's Puzzle. The way Rina’s strength is described really makes me admire her, especially after everything she’s been through. I also liked how the reviewer pointed out Linda Coe and Patrick’s roles—it shows how kindness and support can truly help someone. I find it interesting that the book isn’t just about suffering but also about resilience and hope. After reading this review, I’m curious to see how Rina’s story develops.

Congrats on BOTD!
The poignant story "The Little Garage Girl’s Puzzle" is one of resiliency, treachery, and hope. Once years of maltreatment pass, Rina is duped again once her mother passes away. But she struggles for an improved life with affection and camaraderie.

This review does a great job of capturing the emotional weight of The Little Garage Girl’s Puzzle. Rina’s story sounds incredibly heartbreaking, and it’s inspiring to hear that she continues to persevere despite all the pain she’s endured. I appreciate how the reviewer highlights the strong themes of resilience and hope, which seem to be at the core of this book. Linda Coe and Patrick also sound like compelling characters who provide much-needed support to Rina. It’s interesting that the reviewer didn’t find any flaws in the book—this makes me even more curious to read it. Thanks for such a thorough and heartfelt review!

This sounds like so heart-wrenching yet a story of resilience. Life can be eventful with rough phrases that breaks people. This story is relatable for many and I'm sure it's a great read. Thanks for the free copy.

"The Little Garage Girl's Puzzle" by Katherine Memoli elicits deep compassion and kindness for Rina's pains. Rina's abusive journey highlights the ills in many homes and how deeply society's flaws are rooted in family experiences. The story explores themes of hatred, abuse, bravery, friendship, family, and love.
Although I don't do well with abusive stories because of the strong emotion I feel reading them, Rina's story intrigues me. So, I'm just gonna go ahead and read it.

Amy Luman wrote: 29 Oct 2024, 10:25 I was all for this book until I read the final sentence of the review and realized that it is a romance novel. You did an excellent job describing the events in the book and Rina’s response to them. I know that it will be of interest to many other readers. Thanks!
I think, from what I read thus far, it is more than a romance story. I think it is like a coming of age type story or break through story. The romance is there but it needs to be so she comes full circle with her healing.

This looks like a very nicely written book, capitalizing on several important themes. However, I stay away from books that feature abusive relationships, particularly involving children, so I'll take a pass on this one. Congrats to the author on her achievement and BOTD.

From what I have read thus far and the review, I am glad the book is free so I could afford to get it. It looks like a book that one fighting the past to being a better person can relate with. The review was well written and very informative to what the book is about. Congratulations on the BOTD!

It takes a lot of effort to get rid of all the insecurities and fears that become part of you in adult life after a difficult childhood. So I'm glad that love and a strong shoulder helped Rina fight her demons. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

What an emotional rollercoaster! Just looking at the book's cover makes me sad. After reading your review, I don't think this is for me. There is a romance element in this story. So I'm hoping Rina will find herself a happy ending. Thank you for a wonderful review.

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. Rina grew up as an abused child, banished to the garage and punished if she interacted with schoolmates. She left at 20, lived in an apartment over a bakery, and had a job there. After being swindled out of the mother's will, she left town to find her dream of being a baker. Congrats to the author for the #BOTD.
