The Harry Potter series is definitely one of my all time favorite series. I have read all of the books multiple time, though I think I have read the first one more than any of the others. I really love them all equally and for different reasons, and I'm sure I will continue on re-reading them many times in the future.

Yes, Harry Potter has stayed around a long time and I can see why! After reading the first book, you're hooked and want to read more. The first book in the series somehow draws you in and you can just read and watch the pages go by. I'd recommend this series to anyone who likes magic and adventure, because there's plenty of that in this book.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone...what to say first about that book and the rest of the series.Unfortunately I'm one of those people that wasn't lucky enough to have read those amazing books at a really young age.But finally getting to read them now at the age of 18 I must say these books are some of the best ones I've read in a very very long while.I finished the first one in a matter of hours. It was such an easy read,no boring parts and after that *boom* I was hooked.I didn't even realise how fast I read the rest of the books. So yeah here I am now having read all of them and being so damn happy for doing so. An absolutely must read for honestly EVERYONE!!

I practically grew up with this series. So I can say, this series played a major role in shaping me the way I am today. As the first book of this series, I was engrossed in the magical world and couldn't wait to receive my first letter

And after the book ended, I couldn't wait to start the second year of Hogwarts. A must read for everyone. It is so good that J.K. Rowling described Hermione's character as a bookworm. It was so different from stereotypes. It gave the courage to every female out there to pursue the things they like, to believe that reading can save your life, to know that its okay to be different and its okay to smarter than everyone around you. I have lost the count of how many times I have read this series but I can't wait to start it once again

This is the book that started it all. This is where the magic started to evolve and you started to be introduced to the ways of the Wizarding World. J.K Rowling gave us a taste of her limitless imagination in this book. It will forever be one of my favorite books.

Yes, I agree with the above comment. Reading this book at a young age was something magical in itself. Obviously I had to read it again when I was older to make sure I understood everything, but this first book started a journey that lasted for many years.

The Philosophers Stone is the beginning of a whole new world for young Harry as he finds out who and what he truly is. I love this book.

I have been a massive reader all of my life, but the Harry Potter books are the most....magical series of my life. I reread them every year, starting with the first one on the day of the year where students report to Hogwarts.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. What a good book. What a first impression Harry Potter series has made on me. This was an interesting read it took me a while to get into starting the series, because of how many books there is. I feel like it was a lot better than movies, there was more magic that you could imagine yourself. It was quite fast moving as well which didn’t make it boring.

I have read the first HARRY POTTER series many times, even the movie I never get tired of watching, in this book I really like the part where Harry, Ron, Hermione break into the room where the philosopher's stone is, before the stone was found they thought Severus was the one who committed the crime to steal the philosopher's stone at Hogwarts, I who initially read it also thought like that because Severus kept acting strange and again he seemed to hate Harry who was getting stronger to accuse him of committing the crime, but it turned out that it was not him who did it but Professor Quirrel who stuttered, he was very good at acting in front of everyone, it was even scarier when he found out that behind the turban there was an evil wizard, Voldemort, but luckily Harry was able to defeat Professor Quirrel because of the love of his mother and father, that was the first story from the Harry Potter story but it was already very captivating because the author could make anyone who read it carried away by the world that was told.

The Sorcerer's stone was the very first English novel I read. Being a non-native English speaker, I was a bit hesitant to get started with English novels. Thanks to Rowling's writing style, I was able get over that obstacle.

I love this book so much, it's one of my all time favourites. I first tried reading it at around 10 maybe and couldn't understand, then again at a little older than 11 and then I fell in love for the first time. I used to absolutely devour the books and the only thing I regret is not trying again and getting into it sooner or valuing how amazing it is to read them all for the first time. At least I got to experience that with this book in audiobook form (and a different language).

I know that this post was put up a very long time ago, but I just needed to add to it.

The Harry Potter books are everything nearly everything I read I compare to my feelings for Harry Potter. It can’t be helped.

I am still devastated that it ended and still every year on the lead up to Christmas I’ll watch all of them and binge.
I also still have the audiobooks on repeat every night to go to sleep to.
This is possibly why I’m still single 🫣

Anyway, I feel better for contributing to this post. I only hope that the series comes even close to his amazing as the originals.
