'Official Review: Racing the Wild: A Journey of Freedom and Friendship' by Rosanna Andrea Feeken is a comprehensive work. It sketches the protagonist's character. The book captures the resilience and determination of a teenage boy named Chris. It delves into personal freedom, friendship, and the struggle against adversity. Additionally, it is a realistic portrayal of difficult family dynamics. It was great to learn that the novel is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the transformative power of self-expression!

What a meaningful and moving story. Chris's character is somehow unique and relatable. His love of art and horses is so wholesome. I'm drawn to Chris's uplifting journey as he navigates his difficult life. His story sounds so real and emotional. I hope he finds his happy ending. Amazing review!

Having to live within an abusive family while one is still dependent on their parents is heartbreaking. This amazing story illustrates how to survive it, inspiring us to protect what is really important, family.

The book seems interesting with a rich storyline. I can't imagine the kind of hardship Chris had to endure with an abusive father and a bullying twin. Australian wilderness has always fascinated me since I watched the movie Australia, so this one will definitely go to my to-read list.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad you liked the book, as well as it being edited so well. I also like many young adult books. I'm glad Chris was able to find some friends at school. It is sad to read about his home life, but I hope he can find a better and safer place in his life. After reading your review, I have added it to my list of books to read.

That sounds like such a powerful and emotional read. Racing the Wild seems to balance a deeply personal story with adventure in such a raw, beautiful way. Chris’s connection with the horse and his art feels like such a tender escape from his harsh reality—those kinds of characters always stay with you. I love stories that show growth through struggle and highlight the healing power of friendship and creativity. Definitely adding this one to my TBR—thank you for the heartfelt summary!

I like your review because first of all this book is very great. Racing the Wild by Rosanna Andrea Feeken is a compelling story that explores themes of resilience, freedom, and friendship. It follows the journey of a teenage boy, Chris, and his older twin brothers, who work for their father, a renowned racehorse trainer. The book delves into the challenges Chris faces, including abusive relationships and the tension of his home environment, while highlighting his passion for sketching as a form of escape. Very nice

This review is so detailed! I can tell how passionate you were about this book. It seems like the book itself contains some exquisite detail about the Australian Bush. This isn't my genre, but it sounds like a delightful book.

I truly enjoyed this book immensely. It was full of adventure and very captivating. What I appreciated most was the fact that it makes you realise that you can change if you want to, it might not always be an easy road but it's possible. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD

Emerald's review of Racing the Wild is captivating in itself, giving me the final confirmation I needed to know that it is an age-appropriate book to read. After reading the excerpt myself, I cannot agree more. I especially enjoy the sketches at the beginning of each chapter. The only thing the story needs is a trigger warning to aid parents and children in deciding if this book is for them.
