Amber’s Way sounds like an emotional rollercoaster that captures both the beauty and pain of motherhood. I can already tell Jessica and Amber’s bond will stick with me long after reading.

Gloria Galloway's "Amber's Way" poignantly portrays a mother's unwavering and profound love as she navigates the devastating reality of her daughter's recurring and aggressive cancer diagnosis, forcing them both into a heart-wrenching journey of hope and acceptance.

So, the prologue has a sweet tone, but it ends up being a bit too explanatory. Instead of letting us feel what Amber went through, it kind of just lays everything out, especially the parts about the hospital and her illness. That takes away from the gentle vibe the story is aiming for. The pacing is also pretty slow — it’s missing that little spark at the end that makes you want to keep reading. And while the dialogue is cute, it feels a bit scripted, not entirely natural. Nothing major, but with a few tweaks, it could be a lot more touching and engaging from the start.

This review was well written and touched on every point. The emotional and heart felt story of love, bravery, and resilience in a devastating situation. This Mother and daughter story of a brave child with a determined spirit and how love pulls you through. The mother Jessica lost her beloved husband in Iraq. Then to have to care for a young daughter battling cancer would be unbearable. One of the reasons I am drawn to this book is I lost my husband and raised my three children on my own. I look forward to reading this story of true love that gives you strength to endure the worst of times. The reviewer gives it 5 stars with no errors or problems so that will make a better read. Great BOTD choice!

It must be quite difficult for a mother to experience a recurrence of cancer in their child's body. I'd like to read how Jessica dealt with the re-emergence of cancer in Amber's body and whether Amber survived.

'Nine years later, they were informed that the cancer had returned in a more violent manner, and suddenly, Amber and her mom were thrown into a world of hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.'
Cancer has caused too many griefs.

You are one of the strongest women I know. Life may have taken so much from you, but you never let it take your love, your hope, and your role as a mother. You’ve remained a pillar for your daughter, showing her what true courage and sacrifice look like. May God restore all you’ve lost and bless you beyond measure. Your strength is inspiring, and your love is everything.

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. A widowed mother fights for the baby girl's life, who has cancer. Then the cancer recurs when she is nine. I enjoyed the flashback in the sample of the mother meeting her future husband and their first date. Congrats to the author for the #BOTD.

A mother's love is something unexplainable. "AmbersWay" by Gloria Galloway is a perfect deposition of that love. Congratulations on BOTD.

What an emotional tale that portrays the strength of the mothers love, despite losing her husband, Jessica's love remained uncompromising. And so she loved her daughter perfectly despite her condition. Amber's way is quite an interesting book.

Amber's journey with cancer was not just a physical battle but an emotional one as well. Her mother's love and determination were her most potent allies in this fight. This touching narrative of their shared resilience and the mother's unwavering love for her daughter, whom she held dearer than life itself, is a story that will stir your emotions. Thank you for your heartfelt review.

Thank you for this heartfelt review. It’s clear that Amber’s Way is not just a story about illness, but a deeply emotional exploration of a mother’s unconditional love and strength in the face of tragedy. I was especially moved by your description of Amber as a sweet and brave girl with a fighting spirit—she already sounds like a character who will leave a lasting impression. Your comments on the seamless storytelling and flawless editing also make me confident that this book is both emotionally engaging and well-crafted. I’m genuinely intrigued by how the author portrays both hope and heartbreak with such grace. Definitely adding this to my reading list.
