My last vacation was to Ruidoso New Mexico about a month ago. We just went up for the day to get away from the crazy weeks we had just had. They have a really good buffet and of course the casinos.

We spent a week in London at the beginning of the month - our first vacation since the birth of our daughter. We'd been there before, so the trip was more about relaxing and getting a change of scenery. We spent a lot of time at the park, museums and bookstores. It was lots of fun for our daughter, with so many new things to see! Good vacation.

A four day cruise to Mexico. Being aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship was the highlight, not the one stop we made which was terribly touristy. If only I had friends with a few bucks in their pockets, I'd go again immediately. Unfortunately, everyone around me is facing financial setbacks.

I haven't been on a vacation in years :( but I went with my dad to Stanford last autumn for some medical tests and we did some sight seeing and touristy stuff along the way.

The doctor nixed my travel this year...so I indulged in a bit of armchair/internet/online purchases fantasy-travel (Maine) but hoping to have things sorted by 2015. Still, it was a lot of fun and so much less expensive than Bar Harbour in real-time.

I guess it was a vacation...recently got back from visiting my family in western New York. The summers there are absolutely wonderful!
