My favorite historical fiction novel is the classic, The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck. It was the novel that got me hooked on historical fiction. I don’t have a favorite part, but the ending left a permanent impact on me. It is my favorite because it really opened my eyes to the personal lives during an historical time in history.
