Thank you for the review. The book was explained well in a few sentences and I think I’ll also like Sidone’s story because of her bravery.

Four different women, four different fates, but they are united by shared faith and incredible strength of character. These short stories offer an interesting perspective on "unique challenges faced by women across different eras" and I certainly look forward to reading the book. Congrats with BOTD!

The strength and resilience the four women show in the face of the abuse and injustice they faced, each through a different time and era than the other, is very admirable. Adding the fantasy and magic elements to the plot shows that the author put a lot of thought into the story to accommodate a wide range of audiences.

I absolutely loved reading your thoughts on The Sisterhood! I felt the same way—each of the women’s stories was so powerful, and I was especially drawn to Sidonie too. Her bravery gave me chills, and it really set the tone for the rest of the book. I loved how Maisie Moon showed the strength of women throughout history, even in times when they had little to no power. It was inspiring to see how their faith and inner light connected them, no matter the century. I’m so glad someone else appreciated the pacing and clean writing too—makes such a difference. Can’t wait to see what she comes out with next!

Maisie Moon is the author of The Sisterhood, a historical fiction book that follows four amazing women known as the Daughters of Eve through four short chapters. The stories take place in four distinct historical periods. The second story takes place in 16th-century France, whereas the first story takes place in Sidonie Dupont in 1307. Gertrude O'Brien inherits a chest filled with potent treasures in the third storey. The last tale takes place during the height of World War 2.
