However, being an editor is even more problematic—not because you have more responsibilities, but because you get removed from the position at the slightest mistake. It's stressful.
I also had difficulties once becoming an editor. I feel like it would have been helpful to have had some sort of a guide for becoming an editor, especially related to comma usage. I had several instances where I thought the comma usage was subjective and the other editor who edited the same review suggested it wasn't subjective.

Yeah, I totally agree! Right now I edit reviews but with some difficulties. It's kinda hard to rule out some things and to keep some things in. Like what is considered a grammatical error or something like that. The should make a guide, it would be very helpful.

I'm very excited about this opportunity to be upgraded! I hope that it inspires me to continue to be a level 6 in the future.

The book comes out sometime in June, so that's when you could download it and read it. I know it's a long wait, but hopefully it won't disappoint!

Hello Scott,

I was upgraded to level 6, but due to an emergency, I was inactive for two days. Because of this, I was removed from level 6 for inactivity. I escalated the matter to the support team, but the issue is still unresolved. I kindly request you to reinstate me to level 6 as I am passionate about editing reviews and contributing my service to the platform.

Thank you.

Is anyone else having issues with Stripe? I don’t understand why it’s saying my phone and emails don’t match when I used the same phone and email to verify. Why would I give my drivers license then suddenly lie about email and phone number. So I can’t get paid.

Yes, I am ....
It took several attempts to get it to accept the picture that I was uploading...

I even see a new tab "Payment profile" added to my existing tabs. The last line on this tab reads.. ID has been verified by moderator.

My problem is
1) The History tab is still asking to verify ID.... for that book and
2) The Verify tab is still showing for all the other 10 books that are unpaid
3) The verify ID tab is still showing on the History and other pages.

The status is still ambiguous, as payments have not started yet, and it has been two days since the ID was verified.

I have contacted via the Contact us option: I have been asked to share clips/ screen shots... Done that .. No response when I checked yesterday night..
Tried contacting through the customer support option.... about 3/4 emails exchanged .... No response now...

I assume ID verification, though showing for 10 odd books has to be done only once, and it should sort it out for all the books as the ID is the same for all books.

Not sure how else to reach someone who can resolve.

I’ve also tried the contact option with no response yet. I had actually been waiting over a month for payment on of my books and suddenly it reset. I’m not sure how to resolve it as I was verified on stripe when I submitted the documents and I was verified on the site before that.

Same here. My ID has been verified before. That process was smooth.
I also have over 10 long overdue reviews (30 days +). It is only after the 21-day cycle that the 7-day wait began, only to take off on the new "Verify ID" tangent.

Gosh that is quite frustrating. It’s so weird because before they struck me out they randomly paid out one review that wasn’t in the “queue” and then I got struck for not having “discrepancy”. I shall email support and see if it helps then you could do the same.

Hi, I bought this book in March and my purchase has been verified but I have not yet been upgraded to level 6 (it still shows level 1 currently), do we know how long this will take?
Thanks!

I purchased the book and was upgraded to level 6. I edited over 170 reviews. Unfortunately, when the bonus points expired, I can no longer edit or receive payments from editing. At this point I have completed editing 170 reviews, written 10 reviews and I now need to earn 30 more points to make level 6 again. When I reach level six again, then I may get paid for all my work. At this point, I don't know how to earn those before my editing credits disappear and I need 50+ more points instead of 30. I am completing the daily giveaway, but I don't have pinterest, twitter or linkedin. Writing on forum posts only provides a fraction of what I need.

This is a quote from my score page.
As an editor, your editorial analysis score can be based on your editing of other reviews. You will get full points plus bonus points if you have helped out as an editor with at least 90 reviews in the past month (about 3 per day on average). Otherwise, you will get a pro-rated amount based on how many reviews you did edit or a score based on your own editorial rating, whichever is higher.
As for the daily giveaway, the social commenting/sharing can be compensated by a good amount of average unique replies and the bonus you get for editing.
Ciao :)
