Lost

It's too soon to say, but I think I am lost.
I am lost in the mountains, in the orange sunsets of quiet beaches.
I am amidst the rainforest, waking up to the dreamiest of fogs and sleeping with the cricket's lullaby.
It’s too soon to say, but I think I am lost.

For a moment, for just a moment,
I think I’ll have to hold a hand to be able to stand straight
and to walk past these pastel memories. And to find what hue lies ahead, I’ll walk
For a moment, for just a moment.

Will you let me dance?
If I sing madness or play shy
If I enjoy my heart beating a little louder than yours
Will you let me dance?

I don’t know what more to ask for
But there is something lying just ahead which I can’t see.
For I am lost, without your hand, with a hidden urge of unrhythmic dance
I really don’t know what more to ask for.
