Finally was it "Book cover" or " Book Description" grab the attention more?

Firstly, Book cover made me to look at it twice because of it smudge human face, which creates confusion with curious. Later when I dive into book description, it made more curious of what happens, how happens, how it will be more close to reality.

I rarely decide to read a book based on its cover, but there were many times I decided *not* to read a book because of its cover. Yet, I always read teh book description.

My cursory glance at the cover suggested that the book could be about the future and humans, possibly about clones (glittery prism - vortex) But for this question, I would have let this book pass without reading the description. But the description with its mention of an oldest London pub, a clandestine life-altering project, and digital age chaos really drew me in! So it was the description that grabbed my attention more.

I tend to glance at the title and cover of a book first. Then I decide if I want to read the description or not. Some titles and covers make me instantly want to read them, and some descriptions make me instantly want to read a book. The cover caught my eye and made me interested. But I think the description sold me.
