Posting a Review Request

So that we can provide faster and better support, this forum (the "Public Suggestion Box") has been retired. Instead, please send any suggestions you have to us using the official website contact form.

This allows us to streamline our support system so that we can get to your message much faster. Instead of our support staff having to check three different places (support forum, suggestion box, and contact form messages), they know can respond to all message through one method, with that one method being the official website contact form.

I think you need to submit it again. You can ask Scott about it. :)

You are welcome. :)

I am also having a problem with submitting my review request for Wizard Science by Alan Mackie. Amazon does not have the option to buy my book as a gift, not sure if this is because I'm based in the UK. I have bought a gift card for the book value, copied the code and personal messaged Scott so whoever reviews it can use the code to purchase the book themselves. I have not had a response but keep getting automated email that my review request is incomplete. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem and get a review?

Scott wrote:Most likely you do not need to resubmit a new request. You need to follow the link in the email telling you to finish the request, and follow the steps to finish it. Usually this means uploading the book, which isn't done when initially filling out the review request form.

I notice you have two different accounts. This is likely to create confusion. The system will see you as two different people. You will need to login with the corresponding account to manage the review request. I suggest you figure out which account is correct and then ask me to delete the other one to avoid further confusion. If you submitted more than 1 request, I also suggest you notify me of the duplicates and which ones to delete. You want to have 1 account on the forum and 1 review request both with the same email address.
Hello, I went to edit my preferences and in the botton of the page it requests my paypal address. By paypal address you mean the email address I have on paypal or a specific paypal number of my account? I'm a little confused, sorry.

I believe that PayPal address is the email address you use to login to your PayPal Account.

I think all of the problems listed in this topic have been resolved. If any of you are still having issues, please let me know.

If you can't see the review, it isn't published on the public forum yet. It takes a week or two till it is published. Scott has to go over the review and move it into the correct public forum.

Where did the reviewer post the non-working link to the review?

Within 48 hours of the review being published, you are supposed to receive an email notifying you that it has published with instructions to view it. Also, it will be shown as published on your author's page from the moment it is published.
