Hardcopy for sure! That's probably because I don't own a kindle though.

I just love a hardcopy! It feels more authentic and real and old-school. (Yes, I know it sounds strange, but I think there is some folks out there that would understand what I mean.) Most of the time, when I buy a hardcover book, I usually write in it, underline it, circle it, ... making it my own! I really enjoy this...this only happens when it's really fascinating, meaningful and cathes my interest and heart. Some friends won't lend me their books, unless they make a joke first... but hey(!), I would never mess up anothers book! I know! It's like gold to that person! And I only do it with my own that I bought. The downside is, that I have to be super cautious to whom I borrow it afterwards, 'cause it would have become my own personal memoir by then! Oh, I once had to give away so many books, that I couldn't take with me (space where limited and we had to move into a camper for some time), Agh, the only fact that gave me some release from my mournful heart, was the fact that I knew that every book where handpicked by someone that really wanted to read it... it found a good home and I knew it would've been a blessing to them as well!

I prefer hardcopy. There is something about holding an actual book & manually turning the pages that appeals to me. Also, when I am done reading them, I like to share them with family & friends.

I definitely prefer hardcopy over ebook. Ebooks hurt my eyes from staring at a screen.

I like both ebooks and hardcopies. It does get pretty expensive buying hardcopy books sometimes so if I can find it as an ebook then I just download it. At the same time, I love how a book physically feels in my hands and how the pages smell (weird, right?).

I love holding the read thing in my hands, feeling the thin pages and hearing that beautiful noise they make when you turn the page, music to my ears! And beside a ebook can die on you while the real thing can't, so keep that in mind.

I love having hard copies for my shelves. I love collection books but convenience wise, Ebooks are the best.

I am still making the transition to EBook from Hardcopy. One of the things I struggle with is that I love to hold a hardcopy book and if it is a good one I tend to highlight and take notes in the margins. EBooks just do not satisfy that need and I find that I have to keep a journal with me now in order to write more things down. On a plus side, having a Nookcolor ereader does give me the ability to carry over a hundred books with me at one time. This seriously lightens up my purse which is more the size of a diaper bag due to my need to carry multiple texts with me where ever I go. I find it necessary to always have a book on hand for those moments when boredom strikes or I have to do any waiting at all. I find it difficult to just sit and wait with nothing to do. So I choose to read.

An e-book has become increasingly popular. I love them! But, there is nothing like the smell or texture of a new book. And, a real book doesn't die ot need to be charged.

I never thought I would like, or even tolerate, reading anything but a good old-fashioned made-of-paper book, but I now read almost exclusively from my iPad. I still love the feel and smell of a book, new or old, and, yes, I am one of those who dog-ears the pages and folds back the covers. I have come to love he instant availability of books on my iPad, day or night, and my hubby loves that I no longer eed the lamp on way into the night ;-)

I prefer hardcover. I used to loath the idea of ebook but it is convenient on the go and easy to have with me when I am running around with my kids. I read ebooks just as much as I read traditional books now.

Hardcopy! I have downloaded free books on my iPad but just can't get into reading a book on it. I prefer to hold a book and turn actual pages.

I used to only want a hard copy of the books I wanted to read. I soon realized how expensive it was to buy books and have them sit on a shelf to collect dust. When I first bought my Kindle, I thought to myself I wouldn't buy many books on it. Well that was a lie! I prefer ebooks because it is easier to take my Kindle somewhere and read that a book, then everyone stare at the book to be nosy to find out what I am reading when I prefer to keep some choices private.
