Absolutely not! When I first read divergent I read it in one sitting over night. It wasn't the greatest idea, but I think it was worth it!

Its bad because I end up neglecting my health (I forget to eat and drink) when I'm engrossed in a book. I'm trying to be strong enough to give myself a break from reading by assuring myself that the book won't run away on its own if I leave it for some time. lol. Yesterday itself I finished reading a book in one sitting.

I have finished books in one day. I feel pretty good when I can finish a book in one day.

I think it is the ultimate compliment to the author if someone loves the book enough that they read it that quickly. I've found that if I read a book in one day, I'm usually so engrossed in it that I read every word -- not skipping anything. Those are the best books!

When the book is really good, I usually read it in under a day. And I forget which realm I'm living in XD

Yes I did it with one of the books I recently read Love left behind S.H. Kolee.... I'm always trying to read as much books as possible these days... so when a book makes it easy by being freaking incredible... how can I not take the opportunity to read in a day.... I even stayed up all night for the one I mentioned

I don't like leaving things unfinished, especially a story. I need to know what happens so I usually always try to read a book in one sitting.

Before I got so busy with writing, I used to do this. Over summer vacation I would easily be able to read one or two books a day from the library, so by the end of the week there was usually a huge stack ready to go back there. I still do that sometimes; this past March, I read Allegiant in one night before going to bed.

There are certainly books I've read in a day. I don't think this is a bad thing. Some people can read fast and still comprehend what they've read. There are several books I've read in a day and I can tell you the answer to any question you ask me about it. In full detail. Just because someone reads fast, doesn't mean they're skipping, or that they aren't getting the whole story.

I do this often. That's how a I know a book has captivated me and kept me on the edge of my seat. There sometimes my favorite kind of book. Other times I'll read a much thicker book to slow down the pace. But a book every 24 hours would not be an issue for me.

It's never bad to read a book in a day. I love being able to do that.
A new book each day would be a happy life for me.

I read the last Harry Potter book in a day. I was so tired. But I couldn't put it down I had to know how it ended. It was not the easy read some of the others in the series were. Then I went back and took my time to reread the whole series to put it in context. I had missed some things and caught them the second time through.

This is actually my preferred way to read a book. If I know I have to go out or a TV show is about to come on, I avoid starting a new book. In the event the book is very good, I want to finish it that day and not prolong the agony of wondering what will happen next!

I don't really like reading a book in one day. To me, it is a process. I am not saying you should read it slowly, but I am saying I enjoy it most when it takes time. I read it, then I sleep, I think about it, it becomes a part of my life. I prefer reading 100 pages a day so that I can absorb all the things I've read. If I get obsessed with the book, I have dreams about it so it is just amazing.
