I strongly prefer having a third-person narrator. I feel like most people are not particularly evocative or interesting in conveying their own feelings and this shows in first-person writing. And of course tpn does not exclude getting into a character's gut, only that they end up being conveyed externally-- more shown rather than told.

I prefer 1st person, simply because I find that there is a lot more perspective in 1st person.

I've always preferred a first person perspective with a book because it feels like you are able to get in the characters thoughts and really know them. However, I can see how someone would like the narrator point of view because they would be able to actually put themselves in the story easier. They could pretend the narrator was talking about them if they had really good imaginations. It seems as though it would be a great experience, especially when the reason most people read books is to escape the real world for a while.

All of us never really judgemental. I prefer original person for the reason that principal character is normally far more knowable mentionened above previously preceding. Though All of us furthermore exactly like narration, because I love to know very well what the opposite heroes are usually together with completing. Narration will supply the alternative more than one adventure assortment likewise.

In my case, it doesn't really bother me as I've read tons of books with either the first person or third person narrating. Although I do like the feel of the first person better as it's more experiencially personal. One thing I like about the third person too though is that he/she knows everything going on in the plot so you never miss a thing. :)

Yes, I personally prefer the first person, unless the narrator version is so good that you aren't really aware that they are narrating, then I prefer the other. LOL!

I like both but if I had to chose, I would have to say first person. I think with first person you are able to connect with the characters easier because you know exactly what they are thinking the whole time.

I'm fine with both as long as the story is written well.in a first person account the story is usually limited to the emotions and thoughts felt by the narrator. In a narrator version it usually covers other characters too.

I like both equally. I used to dislike 1st person though, that was because I seemed to only get 1st person book that were pretty badly written. But then I hit a good patch and now I like both narrator & first person!

I like 1st person in certain books, but in other ones I really hate it. With first person you sometimes have to question the motives of the main character, you only get to see what they want you to see. I like the fact that with a narrator you get a more unbiased, complete version of a story. But like I said, sometimes I like it. It entirely depends on the individual book.
