Library definitely! We own way too many books as it is. No more room on the shelves, plus, we are contemplating a move in the not too distant future and do not want to move any more than the minimum. Actually, we will be giving many books to the library for resale. I find that I can get almost anything, including recently released books, from our wonderful library system.

Owning. That's why a kindle is so great. You can keep what you've read without ever taking up too much space.

Definitely owning. When I really enjoy a book I like to highlight and reread it over time.

I never tried to borrow a book before, neither from a library nor a friend. I own all my books.

I generally like to use the library for the first read of an author. Then if I am really impressed I will own the book. I don't have a lot of storage space so I prefer to collect favorites, those needed for work, and the classics.

I prefer owning than borrowing in the library. It give me time to finish the story.

I prefer borrowing fiction books from the library. Owning can become too expensive and where do people store all their books?! I do love owning my non-fiction books from places I have travelled.

I prefer to own as it allows me to build and create my own library, but I also enjoy a good trip to the library to find a new book, as the experience can be most enjoyable and rewarding

I would love to own every book I read and to have a house with stacks of books all over. However, even though that's a nice dream, it just can't happen in my small house. So I buy the books that I plan to keep (about 50% of what I read) and borrow the rest from the library. Maybe someday.....

I like to own. I try to set money aside in my budget and go to some of my favorite book stores.
