The book was very good then I'm guessing. :-) personally I read larger books in between these shorter quick reads. While it's nice to read one through its also nice to be able to linger with a story for awhile too.

It's not bad at all. It just means the book is really interesting to you.

I do this all the time, especially if the book is immensely interesting.

I finish MOST books in one day.....unless they're very difficult to get into.

If there's a series I try to read one a day and then enjoy the story in my head for the next few days.

I frequently do that with books I really enjoy. I think it's good - although my back doesn't agree after 10 hours of reading...

Never, you can be doing a lot worse things like drugs. I also found that reading just expands your knowledge of all things no matter if you read the same genre of books all the time. There is always something you've never heard of presented in books. Also it keeps your brain working similar to school work or brain games.

I read Heaven is for Real in a few hours. It was so readable! There are other short books that I have read in a day, especially ones that are well-written. There are times, that I just don't want to put down the book! I consider that a good read, if you can sit down and read it in a day. I love to read and especially sitting at a doctors office or as a passenger on a trip. When I'm in a situation like that, this is when I want to be able to finish a book in a day.

When an author, or a book rather, has the ability to envelope one so deeply that the reader finishes the entire work in one day, the book has served its ultimate purpose. I have only discovered a few books that I have been able to finish in one day and those are some of the most memorable books I have read. Consider it the utmost compliment to the author when you finish a book in one day.

I wish i could do it too. I hardly find the time to read a whole book in a day. Only some sundays and only if the book has few pages

I really don't think it's bad. As long as you're not reading a book a day for 2 years straight, I think you'll be fine. Hell, just on sunday i read two books of the same series within 12 hours. I think it's impressive, to be honest

Nah, it's not bad; I do that too. Not often though, because I'm really ansty and easily distracted so I can't read for long before I'm up and walking around and doing other things, and then I go back to reading and the cycle repeats.
