Re: Reading a book in one day

I do it often. I try to re-read books the I sail through quickly because you always catch something you missed the first time or so. I recently read a book 3x in one day because it spoke to me so much. It wasn't a book for pleasure reading, it was a marriage help book, but I felt as if I wrote the book myself and had to keep reading it again and again.

Yeah. I feel kinda bad when I read a whole book in one day. I know I should spend time doing something else but the book is just so good i can't put it down. So I do odd things, like cook dinner with my e-reader..LOL. But some days its worth it. :)

it ends all too fast. but I tend to read books in a day if I get really into them, especially if the book is part of a series!

I definitely don't think that's a bad thing, but, for me at least, I don't think I'd be able to absorb everything the book was saying if I read it that quickly (I'm naturally a pretty slow reader). But I do prefer to read books in as short a time frame as I possibly can, because I feel that allows you to better immerse yourself in the story, whereas you don't really get that experience if you spread out your reading...

That's not a bad thing at all! I just started and finished a book yesterday. It just means that it was really good!

I love doing this! I feel like the consumption of the story is the most pure when you have the fewest interruptions.

It is somewhat bad because once you are done with the book, you realize that there is nothing more to it. You finished a good book in just one go. Later you wish that the book would never end.

It's not bad to finish a book on one day if you have the time and you are enjoying the book. It's lovely to loose yourself in a book!

I love getting lost in a book and finishing it in one day. At the same time, there's a sense of loss because it was so good.

I doubt that is bad, especially if you can take the time to do that. I almost always finish my books in a single day, especially if they are short.

Most of the time, it is a challenge, even for a few days. As for a day, it seems like a lot.

I don't think it is a bad thing at all. I also binge read a lot and it works for me. There is no one way to read books.

I will get tired from reading a book the whole day, it is not my style.

I've never done this before but the least number of days I finished reading a book is 2 days.

Not at all. If I had enough time I would also try and finish a book in one day! But life gets in the way lol
