She's so amazing while describing the feelings of Olympia, the reacting of John Haskell, the love blooming between them! I'll never forget the small things she describes that've been like a thousand times through our minds but we never cared to notice. After one night Olympia dreams of Haskell, she wakes up the next day thinking something unforgetable like:
«When we dream of someone and we wake up and see him the next day, it gives an ilusion of intimacy that doesn't exist».
And it still talks to me today.

I agree I thought testimony was a brilliant read, I couldn't put it down finished the book in 3 days. I have been considering another book by her but there's to many to choose from. What do you reckon guys which one next?Gannon wrote:The only Anita Shreve I have read and have in my collection is "Testimony". I think it is a brilliant book and really loved it. I am considering buying "A Change in Altitude" It sounds really good.
