I want J.R.R. Tolkien back! I absolutely love The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. I want to see more adventures of hobbits and elves. If Sam gave his daughter the accounts of Bilbo, then maybe it inspired her to go on her own adventures. Or maybe Bilbo has a cousin that has the adventure gene that was spread down from the Took side of the family.

Emily Bronte, if only to ask, "What the hell possessed you to create such an awful character as Heathcliffe?"

I would bring back Shakespeare just so I could slap him around for a little while and sarcastically thank him for torturing me in my youth with the tragedies I was forced to read against my will.

If Ic ould bring an author from the dead it would be Louisa May Alcott, I loved all her books, Little women is one of my favourite books. I just love her style and the messages she sends it her books. I wish we had more books from her :)

Wait, if we brought all these people back from the dead, wouldn't that be some kind of zombie apocalypse!?! Someone should write a book about this!

I agree with J.R.R. Tolkien. I wonder what he would make of the movies his books became and whether he would want to write more from his deeply developed imagination.

Sorry to be boring but I'm another vote for Jane Austen. Imagine what she would have to say about todays society. Would she still find the humor that shines through in her writing?

I would love to have a nice long chat with Kurt Vonnegut, ask him if there's anything further that he would have written that he didn't get a chance to write and if there is an afterlife what are his thoughts on it.
