They're Poets and They Know It by Scholastics

This book is a very simple book with a lot of poetry. They include many poems from Rhyming Poems, Free Verse, Limerick, Narrative Poems, Concrete Poems, and Humorous Poems. The authors of these poems include Edward Lear, or Carl Sandburg. You can read from 30 different poems, each and every one of them very interesting and creative. Even though they are very easy to read, I found this book interesting and I recommend this book if you have problems creating poems or need further inspiration. Here is an excerpt from the book
LIMERICKS:
There was a young lady whose eyes
were unique as to color and size.
When she opened them wide,
people all turned aside,
and started away in surprise

There was an old man in a tree
whose whiskers were lovely to see;
but the birds of the air
pluck' them perfectly bare
to make themselves nest in that tree
