I never like getting rid of my books. They usually stay on my bookshelf and I reread them all occasionally. However, my bookcase is getting very full now and I think I need to sort them all out. I think the books I read when I was younger I'll sell online (so I can spend the money on new books!) but keep the ones I love.

I always keep the books I read because I do reread most of them. I keep them on my bookcase, however it is getting very full now and I need to sort all my books out. Once I've kept a book for a while and read it many times I will probably lend it to somebody or sell them online or at a car boot sales (so I can spend the money on new books!)

I like to keep my books. I reminds me of an accomplishment that I have finished a trilogy, saga, or series. On top of that I may decide that I would like to read a book again which I have done on numerous occasions.

I always keep the books I read. I have donated some in the past, but those are the ones that I have never read and probably won't read in the future. So instead of just having them gather dust, I give them away to someone who would read them.

If it's mine and not a library book, and I enjoyed then I put it on my book shelf, and read again a few days, months, years ..etc. later.

Keep it! I am a book hoarder. But I organize them and make them look pretty so it's totally ok. I want to have my own home library someday. It's an addiction and I am ok with it.

I usually re read the last sentence or two and meditate on how I feel about the ending. Then I lightly place on a tabletop carefully as if it was light glass. There is just a magical feeling I get when I come to the end of a good book.

I tend to put it in my library to read again someday if I liked it. If I didn't like it I tend to put it in my library anyway. That's why I have too many books.

Has anybody seen the show: Hoarders? It's where people keep the things they love even if they don;t use it or pay any attention to those things but it holds a sense of importance. It's like my paperback books for example. One day when I was like 16 my mother helped me clean my room and she found sooooo many of my novellas and novels and the only way for me to create space in my room was to get rid of a few books. But a few to my mother was not a few to me. LOL. We put a few books in bags to donate them but when my mother was out of the room I went back to the room to get a few bags of books to keep and she suddenly swift passed me and called me a hoarder. She caught me. lol I don't believe I'm a hoarder even though I probably wouldnt read a few of those books again and some of those books I havent even started on or read. I just...simply...love my books.

I keep them on the shelf if it is a paper copy.
Kindle books are placed into a folder labeled "Already Read" so I can keep it separate from the books I still have listed to read.

That all depends. If I absolutely loved the book, I keep it and re-read it the same way some people watch DVDs over and over again. If I thought it was just okay or didn't like it, I give it away or drop it off at the local Goodwill or Salvation Army.

I keep mine on my bookshelf but I tend not to reread them. Every once in a while I go through my shelves to find books to give away or donate.
