My mother liked the name, its Celeste. Initially she was going to name me Maria Celeste, so both names would be said, but she knew that most people and teachers would pronounce the first name Maria, and she didn't want that so its just Celeste.

My legal name is very long which I never use but it was a combination of being named after someone my parents admired and the other part has a special meaning behind it and everyone who know my legal name thinks it's very unique but I think it's just very long.

My real name isn't anything special. I'm the female version of a Jr. I was named after my mom. Literally. My name is the shortened version of her name. My nickname is the only cool thing about my name :D My last name is Link, but they call me Zelda. I'll gladly take that over weakest link or missing link.

SAME HERE!! My mother named me Rebecca after Kenny Rodgers "Coward of the County". I finally listened to it and was like "Mom...we need to talk about this" lol

My name (the A from my username) was one of the most popular names in the US in the few years before my birth.
The Lynn comes from my biological mother's best friend... who later became my adopted sister. So my sister and I actually have the same name. Awesome, huh!?!?

I loved that song when I was a child! The Gambler was the popular one, of course, but the one that really hit me for some reason was Coward of the County. I listened to it quite a lot in my youth. Very cool. :D

My first name my mom mashed up my grandma's name "Kathleen" and my great grandma's name "Evelyn." That's how they got Kaitlyn. I plan on doing the same as the middle name for my first daughter, but it will be "Evaleen." My middle name is Michelle after my aunt.
