This sounds totally hilarious!PashaRu wrote:There is a show I watched in Russia called Безумно красивые, which roughly translates to "Insanely beautiful." It's kind of a play on words, as ум means "mind" or "brains," and the prefix без means "without."
Anyway, there are three teams of two women each. The women are all 18-22 and gorgeous, but most of them are as dumb as a box of rocks. They are asked various trivia questions, and the audience listens as they try to work out the answers. It's unbelievably funny sometimes how they "reason out" a totally wrong answer. I'm glad that I can still watch some episodes online.
Every summer I have to watch American Ninja Warrior
I can't wait for The walking Dead
And American Horror Story is back in a little over a week!

Thats the problem with most series. After a while they get pretty repetitive. Most are good for two or three years, but they should give it up after that. Ghost Whisperer was like that. My wife was nuts over that show, she had all the current shows on DVD. But it was the same thing over and over again. Watch one and youve seen them all. One exception at least for me was Charmed. My wife bought the whole series. I thought it would be just another dumb repetitive boring chick flick, but it turned out pretty good. It was fantastic and unbelieveable nonsense, but it was put over in such a way that made every episode different and entertaining.suzy1124 wrote:I was hooked on " House " but ultimately got bored , too " formulaic "...

Saw a FANTASTIC bio on Agatha Christie on PBS...........so much I never knew about her, like her BIGGEST MYSTERY was not fiction, it was FACT and happened to her in real life...she DISAPPEARED!...till this day nobody knows WHY, she took the secret to her grave...she ultimately returned w/no explanation...weird...
She was the most read person in the world, at the time, only 2nd to the bible...
What made the show so great was that " Inspector Poirot" aka actor David Suchet starred in the bio...

I remember another show that was a favorite. This goes back a ways. It was called Its A Great Life or something like that. It had Michael OShea and James Dunn. I forget the other guys name. The only thing I remember about him is that he was in the movie The Killer That Stalked New York. It was a comedy about these two guys staying in a boarding house. Aunt Bea from Andy Griffith was the landlady and James Dunn was her bum of a brother. It was funny. these two guys and the brother would really get into some wild scrapes.
