Totally!
Books smell like angels baking and kittens playing and snow falling.
Old books have a good smell but new books are nothing to sneeze at!
Yup...had to say it. :P
I love the smell of books!

New ones? Maybe. But old ones? Is it an acquired taste? New books remind me of that new car smell that's still in the car even if you drove it off the lot 4 months ago.

I can relate to all of you when it comes to new books. Since I rarely get new books my dog is the only one who likes to sniff them. She gets crazy when I bring home a stack of books from the library, lol.

Ah~ I absolutely love the smell of books. The first thing I do when I buy a book is sniff it. Be it an old or a new one, it doesn't matter. Although I tend to lean more towards old books sometimes. I guess it depends on my mood. :D

I love the smell of books, especially library books. Most of those are old and they smell nice and kind of lived in. New books are great too, and the smell of a bookstore is just amazing. I love leather bound books, especially.

We need to get a coffee table book that has various smells of different books inside! That would be both a good seller and smeller! :P

Oh yes! I've done that since I was a little kid. I always saw my mom and my grandma doing it, and I thought it was just normal. Walking into an old used bookstore, the first thing I do is stop and take a deep breath and take in the smell of old books. It's the best smell in the world, thats for sure! :D

There is actually a place I go to shop for books that has an old book store two doors down from a new one. Those are excellent days going from one to the other!

The first thing I do when I get my hands on a book is smell it. I love the smell of books old and new. I agree that each one has it's own smell.
Books are one of my favorite things, I love everything about them.
