Okay...

Paranormal/supernatural stories

What off the wall unnatural real-life accounts have you heard?
Or urban legends?

Anybody know the story of Gef the mongoose?

I used to live in a haunted house. At least that what people said, altho my wife and I never saw any ghosts. But we sold the house to my in-laws and they claimed they saw a woman baking bread in the kitchen at night. There was a woman who lived there in years past that was famous for her baking. Maybe so.

Dont know Gef.

Gef was reported to be a talking mongoose who took up with a family in the 1930's on the Isle of Man.
The story is quite interesting really.
Here's a link so you can read more about him...

Or you can of course search for gef the mongoose and pick a different source.

Theories are plentiful as to what Gef could have been.
He was witnessed by more than just the family, spied on the neighbors, and told unbelievable stories.
This story has always fascinated me.

There's a theory as to why some people can see ghosts and others can't...
It has to do with minute differences in each individuals eyes.

Anyone believe in anything paranormal?
Or think it's all bunk...

I believe in the supernatural for sure, but not necessarily the paranormal.

I dont really believe in ghosts as returning from the dead, but I think when someone passes some leave an energy behind that could be thought of as ghosts. I think when we die we lay in the ground and rot and are called up at the last trump and are judged if we go to the good place or to the bad place.

That's the biggest question, isn't it? Where do we go when we die?
