Its a racket, thats for sure. I had a 49 Cadillac that needed a wheel bearing. One for a Cadillac was around 10 dollars, but the clerk said he could sell me one for a 49 Chevy for 3 dollars that was the same thing.

WOW! quite the rip-off!...........

I still fantasize about a 1957 T-bird! , that and the Mustang were the only 2 American cars I coveted...

I always wanted a vintage Corvette, a 55 or 56.

It was a good one. Another TV show car I always wanted was the Stutz-Bearcat from The Bearcats.

That was only for one season in the mid-60's. Pretty good show with Rod Taylor. About these two guys in 1920's Mexico who traveled around in a Stutz-Bearcat having adventures.

As of today my favorite car is the Mini Cooper. It's cute and portable enough to whip around town in. Also the gas mileage is out of this world.
