I do too. I was always into trivia. I saw a thing on the History Channel that the formula for Guinness beer came from a 200 year old shipwreck. They found this ship that had the original Guinness beer in barrels and they analyzed it, and came up with the beer they have today.

Wow! I wonder how many who drink it realize the interesting story behind it?

I love V-8 juice. Thats why I like it, especially mixed with beer.

They had a law in Utah that was still on the books in recent times that when a guy got out of prison, they had to give him a horse, a rifle, and a 10 dollar gold piece. Some law savvy guy took them up on it some years ago and they had to give him those things. The horse and rifle wernt a problem, but he insisted on the 10 dollar gold piece which he sold for a lot of money. The law was scrapped after that.

Did you know that Alfredo sauce is basically just butter, sour cream, garlic and parm?

I did not know that! I guess I will try making this myself if I can find a good recipe for it.

According to Harris Interactive, 70% of men and 57% of women shower daily.

A neutron star is so dense that one teaspoon of its material, on earth, would weigh 900 times more than the Great Pyramid of Giza.

That is the recipe...a large amount of sour cream...a bit of butter and parm and a small amount of garlic powder... Try it!

Did you know...that if you take the hot chocolate mix that you make with water (those packets....not with mini marshmallows) and make up several cups...and pour in a pitcher and refrigerate overnight....when you wake up and stir it up...it will taste exactly like the bottled Yoo Hoo Soda. Discovered this (happily) by accident. Who knew!

I put this on here once, but it went away. The old legends say that Helen of Troy, the most beautiful woman in the world was hatched out of an egg. Her mother was raped by a bird. A swan, I think. I believe it was one of the gods in disguise so his wife wouldnt find out.

In Gardening: Did you know you can keep all those plant-in-the-Fall for Spring Colour Bulbs in your crisper drawer of the refridge...then plant them in early Spring and they will be exactly where you want them...not have to worry about winter heaving or being eaten/dug up by pests...or rotting. It is fool proof!
