Wear Glasses or not??

Post by realistic »

I wear glasses when I need to look at things in the distance, for example when I'm at the cinema or when driving. I also wear a pair of non-magnification glasses with glare protection, when working on my PC.

What about you, do you wear glasses?

I'm lucky that at the moment I don't need to wear glasses - but I am worried about the future because all of my family wear them and I'm sure I'll be due a pair as I get a bit older...

lucky! i have needed glasses since i was just wee. pretty much legally blind without them. thank god they are making glasses a little more fashionable now as all my grade school photos have those big owl glasses that take up about half my face!

I wear glasses most of the time. I am so blind I can't read signs on the freeway without them and I have no depth perception since one eye is 20/300.

When I want to go out and look cute I wear contacts.

Fortunately my family tends not to have any problems with the eyesight, and that's true about me as well.
Hope I won't need glasses till I die

Yup I do have four eyes but I have contact lenses too. So I just wear my specs when I'm at home.

Short sightedness has run in my family for generation so yes, i wear glasses and have done since 21 years of age. But this year i am going to get laser eye surgery and hopefully eliminate the glasses forever.

I have glasses for reading & PC work but not otherwise. Could never go for contacts ... hate the idea of poking around with my eyes.
Don't really mind the glasses except because I don't have to wear them all the time they're on and off and I spend a lot of time looking for them.
One of these days I'll admit defeat & get one of those old lady chains for around my neck!

Probably the only good thing about Sarah Palin ... at least she made glasses sexy!

I have a friend who's eyesight is so... unbelievable that when i put her glasses on to walk across the room it was like being drunk (or drunk goggles) and i couldn't walk straight.
Haha, i couldn't help but laugh and notice that if i looked at someone i saw up to 4 of them; i had to cross my eyes to get any sense of focus.
So at that point i couldn't help but run around the whole room jumping over people and laugh.

The thrill wears off after a few years, though

Haha, true, but I always come up with new things to do with them.
that or I just crack a bunch of jokes about it and it never gets old.

I also switched schools so I hardly see her, it's great everytime.
