It has to be Mr. Grey for me. There wasn't something with the way I could picture he carried himself and how you knew that underneath that steel exterior there was a man with a heart. I loved that he pushed Ana to the brink and made her discover who she really was.

Have you read Mia Sheridan's A Sign of Love series? Each book has a pretty unconventional Alpha male kind of character and all of them are just too difficult not to love. I have a post on it too!

I would have to go with Curran from the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.

Rafael the Rat King from Anita Blake

And he's an actual alpha to boot!

I have to admit that although I love all the Alpha's that I have read about, JR Ward and the Black Dagger Brotherhood have to be some of my favorites!! These men are by all means AMAZING!!!

Omg! It has to be Bryce Clarke KM Gollands Temptation series. He's so talented. He can play the guitar, fly a helicopter, he's the CEO of his own hotel chain, he can cook like a five star chef, he even teaches women's self defence classes and gives to charities, but he's so hot! He loves his cars, and bikes and uses them for more than riding the conventional way. He loves fiercely and doesn't take no for an answer. If he wants something he will fight tooth and nail to get it. Swoon!!

I find I love the Alphas in Lorelei James books. I love the idea of being family men by day and crazy sexy at night. When I first started reading romance novels at the tender age of 14 I couldn't get enough of the sex scenes. Now I want more of the build up and angst that goes along with real love. So while her books are super sexy there is still that other stuff I require. Also I love contemporary Romance novels starring Native American alpha men. Any recommendations?

Smoky from Yasmine Galenorns Otherworld series.
When another alpha male will say he thinks Smoky is everyone's alpha...that is an alpha!

This will probably seem strange...but Anita Blake.
She is an alpha. She is one dominant...ahem...woman.
And I wouldn't have her any other way.

Wow.. it is topic where I actually agree with people! lol. I love the Black Dagger Brotherhood guys. I really do. There are really are a lot of good alphas from the books that I have read though, but BDB always seems to win in the end.
