bluegirl, I share the same thoughts as yours on The Book Thief. I absolutely loved that book.

I finished reading The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett and loved it. Though it's a children's book, it is a must read for adults as well. I give it 4 on 5.

You might have to be a bit of a fiction-history nut but I really enjoyed it and I'm now reading Sepulcher also by Kate Mosse

"Captain Corelli's Mandolin" by Louis deBernieres very enjoyable read but in my opinion not quite as good as "Birds Without Wings" but it would still get a 8/10 from me.

I just read the first book of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series: The Ligtning Thief.

The previews for the movie made me interest and even though I thought it went way to fast for me sometimes, it still had an interesting plot and a nice twist.

8/10

"The Fighting Temeraire" by Sam Willis. It is a great book about the history and the battles that this battleship (ship of the line) fought in the time of sails. I would give it a 4/5.

The last book I read was Sue Moorcroft's, 'Starting Over'. It's incredible!

Not only is the writing superb, defining Sue as one of the most skilled romance novelist out there, but the story line is - to say the least - completely compelling and addictive.
Her characters, even the secondary ones, are so well formed, and I found myself more immersed in their lives than I have ever been with another novel.

You simply must read it. Or at least take a peek at her facebook page.

Let me know what you think!

Hey there pendragonisgood. I have read the first book but have not read the second one yet. I really enjoyed the first one. Does your rating of 10 out of 5 mean that it is really good or was it meant to be 5 out of 10. :)
