Most embarrassing moment of your life?

Post by Syntheticaudio »

I'll start, mine is pretty good and I can laugh about it now too seeing as it was quite some time ago.

When I was sixteen I was in a bar and someone had obviously thrown up on the floor. I came walking along and completely missed this fact. So I slipped on my butt through their vomit and was covered.

But the embarrassment does not end there!

I was pretty freaked out by the situation but I thought it would be best to just get up hold my head up high and walk to the bathroom to clean up but no... As I get up to walk away what do I do? Slip again.

I had vomit on my butt in my hair all up my back and dripping from my hands. And tonnes of people saw and were laughing. It was horrendous.

I dont think I'll ever be more embarrassed in my life. Or well, I seriously hope not.

Wow. That sounds nasty. Sorry you had to experience that. :(

Mine was while in college, I was hurrying across the road in winter between classes when I hit a patch of ice and literally had my feet way above my head as I went flying through the air. This happened in front of about 200 students or so, including a girl who I liked. it was quite the tumble physically and I guess emotionally too! :?

Mainly my pride. My butt was sore for awhile but at least I didn't hit my head or anything on the road. That would have been really bad.

Yeah. Sounds like you could've easily broken a wrist or something. Well I guess there is always a little comfort in knowing it could've been worse. I could've slipped another time, or vomited myself and slipped in that afterwards hahahaha. So many possibilities.

Oh yeah. Given the choice I'm sure I would've too.

Probably even with a broken wrist.

I was pregnant w/my daughter on the way to my OB/GYN for a check up...

Suddenly I had to go to the ladies room in a public toilet that unfortunately was out of toilet paper...

So I reached in my handbag for some Kleenex and used that instead...

While in the examination room both the nurse and the doctor had very weird expressions on their faces, as it turned out they were suppressing laughter over the grocery store green stamps ( very popular at the time ) plastered over my private parts...

Evidently I had a few loose ones in my bag that had affixed themselves to the Kleenex, and voila!,instant embarrassment!

P.S., I'd take anything over the VOMIT !.............truly horrific !..

Great thread ! Syn!

Oh my gosh it's hard to not laugh about that one!!! How awful. I think a lady parts doctor visit is embarrassing enough as is. It doesn't need anything extra added.

I hope your doctor at the very least was a woman.

-- 17 Nov 2014, 15:10 --

Not that that would really help clear the situation up at all haha.

I bet your husband roared with laughter when you told him that story. You should have just said that you were teaching your daughter to be a bargain shopper from the Get-go!
