We grew them for home canning. They have natural acid thats kills germs in the canning process. A lot of people dont like them for eating raw, but our family liked them. A little stronger than most tomatoes.

You should be able to find the plants at a nursery. Thats where we got ours. Sometimes even K-Mart had them.

Does house shopping count as a place visited? If so, there was one that I went to that had the awful smell of cat urine absolutely everywhere! It was like toxic fumes that almost knocked you out as you walked inside. Needless to say, I never lived in that house!

I guess for them it must be like taking little doses of a poison over time to build up a tolerance to it because It was close to being at hazardous levels of toxicity! Horrible!

You dont want to light a match in a place like that, there could be a methane explosion.

When I was a kid one of my baby-sitting jobs was for a woman who allowed her kids and pets to urinate on the carpeting and then sprayed perfume over it........I had to quit, just couldn't hack it! ( my mother wouldn't let me go back there anyway )

Thats weird. Thats like a guy I knew who was from Denmark who wouldnt buy toilet paper, he said it was a waste of money that could be spent on something useful like ice cream. When he was done doing his business, he would jump in the shower and wash himself off. He was a strange guy. He was a guard at the state prison and on his application form they wanted to know if he would be on the firing squad to execute a guy for 25 dollars. He said he would do it for a 10 cent ice cream cone. Weird.

About to go visit some airports over the next couple of days. As a rule, I kind of hate airports... I'll take notes and see which one is the worst!

Don't know if houses count. I am a nurse and used to do home nursing visits. Some of the places I have been in... In one house I walked out and discovered that I was covered with fleas! Usually the homes were kind of dark (lights that didn't work and heavy drapes), so I wasn't really sure what I was walking into (it is also very hard to do a full assessment of the patient, when you can't see). I really had to instruct patients to get proper lighting set up. I had one patient who had no indoor facilities. I had to make sure that he had enough oxygen tubing to reach the out house. Some places, I didn't take my whole bag in, just my stethescope, blood pressure cuff and thermometer. All of which I sanitized very thoroughly afterward. I actually miss the home care patients, not every house was scary.
