The most unusual dinner I made was when my kids asked for octopus. I was like that is disgusting, my five year old started laughing at me. You take a hotdog and make cuts on one side then and spaghetti noodles to the other side. Boil it together and there you have octopus.

I had no food in the house so I mixed some basil pasta sauce with a cup of rice and put a scrambled egg on top and squirted mayonnaise all over it. Totally edible.

That sounds gross, lol. I'm glad it was edible.

I don't mind eating weird stuff…my husband is a stick in the mud when it comes to food, lol.

I have weird combos that I like….

Ketchup on eggs and also with chicken.
Honey with fried chicken.
Peanut butter and bananas…move over Elvis, lol.
Cranberry sauce on chicken or turkey sandwiches.
Apples, with sliced cheddar cheese and green olives….yum.

just the other day, I was making some pasta, only to discover the pasta sauce in the cabinet was actually curry sauce... so I just went ahead and used that instead. Curry pasta. With a slice of cheese on top. So weird, but kind of awesome.

Glad I wasn't there for that one. I have a hard enough time eating "regular" parts of the cow.

Same here. Id have to be pretty hungry to eat brains or other unusual body parts.

Like the story about the woman who went to a butcher and asked him what would be really good. She wanted to make a special dinner for her husband. The butcher said, how about tongue? The womans said, No way. Thats disgusting. I dont want anything that came out of a cows mouth. Just give me a dozen eggs.
