Book Advent Calender Ideas?

Post by Skillian »

With Christmas approaching quicker than ever... I am trying to come up with an advent calender idea I can set up on the first. I'm thinking I will go around finding 25 awesome sounding books from various yard sales, etc. Then wrapping them for my hubby. What do you think? Though I'm not sure how I would arrange in decoratively.. have any of yall made your own dvent calenders before? Any good ideas and suggestions? Or maybe it will just be book themed and I can have a fancy bookmark in one... a reading light.. maybe some new reading glasses... etc. hmmmmm.

Sorry if this is too late. What about some ebooks? You could email him a card or notice of what book you got him each day or maybe even just give him some hints and he can try to guess the book before you show him it. If you are going with physical presents, you can hide them around the house for him to find each day or maybe put them in special places where you know he will see them and bring a smile to his face when he spots them on a daily basis. Just a few ideas. I hope they help in some way! :D

I honestly know nothing about doing an advent calendar. I'm not even certain I understand how that would work!
