What are you Thankful for

Post by cmp librarian »

With Thanksgiving just around the corner I got to thinking about being thankful and grateful. Is there anything book and reading related that you are thankful for? For example - the person who taught you how to read? Or maybe an author that you are grateful to because they wrote a book that changed your life? Etc. Please share your "thankful" story. Tis the season to be thankful. :D

I am thankful for my mom. She as an adult, hired a tutor to teach her how to read, because in school no one ever took the time to help her truly master the art of reading. Her passion and dedication to learning how to read is inspiring. Then after that she decided to home school me and my siblings -teaching us how to read and fostering a love of books and stories in any form. Some of my greatest reading memories are from her.

I am thankful for my life and God's salvation the most in my life. I am also thankful for my family and friends as they make my life so much better. I am very thankful for all of my blessings! :D
