I love giving :D

Normally it's money for the grands and kids. We are usually in a different state than they are and they can get what they want with cash.

I give my neighbors, mail lady, librarian(all the library workers), doctor's office, hairstylist and garbagemen some homemade goodies. Last year I made trays of cookies, homemade candy and homemade dog biscuits(for those who have dogs  ).

This year I may change it up and make some homemade Baileys Irish Cream, mint hot cocoa mix, a vanilla body scrub, the dog biscuits, and a couple of kinds cookies….although my Mounds Bars go over really well. I'm still deciding

For my in-laws they get an all in one present. My husband and I spend a week with them each summer in NY and do anything on their "honey do" list and we buy the materials. I also give my in-laws a break and cook for them the week we are there. My MIL says we can come more than once a year

I am terrible at giving gifts! But recently I just pick out some snacks and Japanese stuff that I know my family can't find in the states.
Who else is sick of hearing me talk about Japan! *raises hand*

It's home for you. Of course you are going to talk about it! It doesn't bother me at all.

Went drama queen crazy, decided I wanted to live on the other side of the planet because I couldn't stand being so close to a certain person, looked up English teaching jobs in Japan, and the rest is history. 8)

Wow that was pretty daring. How long do you plan on staying there?
