I wear glasses. I am near-sighted. I love my glasses because I can change them up. But I hate my glasses when it rains.

I started wearing glasses in preschool, and by late middle school I had to wear them all the time, all day. My vision is horrible without them. I kept trying to get contacts in high school and college, but every time they'd take me back to get them, at the optics center, they'd reach toward me to put them in, and I'd pull back from reflex.

I've since been told that they should've just taught me how to put them in myself. I don't pull away reflexively when it's my fingers.

But now I'm glad I don't have contacts. Glasses feel like they add a layer of everyday protection. If something were flying toward my face, I'd rather it hit my glasses than my eyes. Plus, eyeglasses are so fashionable! Mine are horn-rimmed with little flowers in pink and purple. My other pair is the same in pink and neon green.

I started wearing glasses in 3rd grade, and am wearing them to this day. I wear them because I'm nearsighted.

Let's see... I think I stared wearing glasses in 4th grade. Back then, I didn't wear my glasses 12/7, so I would put them on my desk during class. I remember being really annoyed with this substitute teacher because she picked up my glasses by the lens. I put them back on and all I saw was this gigantic smudged fingerprint. Reminiscing aside, now I pretty much wear my glasses all the time (eyesight has gotten a lot worse since I was 10. Sigh).

Yep, since I was 14. It all started when I could not see the blackboard. The first three years my sight became worse and worse, nowadays I would not recognise my mom from the other side of the rode hahahaha T.T I started to wear contacs but my eyes used to get really tired so I stopped. I don't mind wearing glasses, though it is a bit uncomfortable when I go to the beach or the swimming pool because I can't see!
