The Host By Stephanie Myers

This book was really good , I could not put it down and it made me wonder about our world. I truly recomend it is nothing like the twilight series in terms of the theme but its still really intersting.

hmm... I disagree. Someone recommended it to me and I tried to read it, but it was so boring!

I didn't make it to the 20th page!

I have to say I loved it too. And I would love to know if they take back the world. It was an interesting concept.

Well I guess at first I did not get into the book as much because you dont know what going on. The first part is sort of confusing but then when it begins to get better and better and of course its not twilight but its still a good story with a lot of feelings.

It is a far sight better than the Twilight series. I've read it twice, and I might still read it again! I hope Stephenie Meyer writes a sequel.

The beginning was tough to get through. You have no freaking clue what's going on and what they are talking about. But, if you keep going you then understand what's going on and it's a pretty good book.

I read the Host a while ago and did not like it. I then read the Twilight series and liked that so much that I tried to re-read The Host, unfortunately, I could not get into it and never finished it. I guess it just wasn't my type of book.

I'm not sure if I want to read this or not. I might. It just doesn't sound like my type of book.

I had my worries about The Host. I disliked the Twilight series a lot. Horrible books, but I quite liked The Host. It's hard to say exactly what I liked about it, though I can say I liked the whole, two minds in one body thing. That was pretty interesting. For some reason I'm coming up short with the right words to explain how I felt about it, it's been a long day. But it is definitely a book I would recommend to a friend. :P

What exactly is The Host about? Is it a Twilight based book, but written from the POV of one of the other characters?

The Host is a completely different series by Stephanie Meyers, with new characters and a whole different story plot.

Basicly it is a science fiction novel with a little romance in it. In The Host humanity is lost and is vastly outnumbered and overwhelmed by superior technology made by a different race, or aliens. There is some resistance left but they are just a handful of humans who haven’t yet been captured.

It's basicly a story about what it is to be human and how they manage to survive in this new world, where the alien race is superior and the human race is basicly being hunted.

It is a really good book so I would definately recommend it. In my opinion I thought it was better than Twilight, but they're both still really good.

Hmm, that sounds interesting. I might go get it out of the library, once I'm finished with the Twilight series.

Not sure if it's worth owning, though. :? I like her writing style, however I'm a bit hesitant about having her writing a sci-fi novel. Not sure if it'll be any good.
