The beginning was tough to get through. You have no freaking clue what's going on and what they are talking about. But, if you keep going you then understand what's going on and it's a pretty good book.Just Me wrote:hmm... I disagree. Someone recommended it to me and I tried to read it, but it was so boring!
I didn't make it to the 20th page!

The Host is a completely different series by Stephanie Meyers, with new characters and a whole different story plot.ShipOfFools wrote:What exactly is The Host about? Is it a Twilight based book, but written from the POV of one of the other characters?
Basicly it is a science fiction novel with a little romance in it. In The Host humanity is lost and is vastly outnumbered and overwhelmed by superior technology made by a different race, or aliens. There is some resistance left but they are just a handful of humans who haven’t yet been captured.
It's basicly a story about what it is to be human and how they manage to survive in this new world, where the alien race is superior and the human race is basicly being hunted.
It is a really good book so I would definately recommend it. In my opinion I thought it was better than Twilight, but they're both still really good.

Hmm, that sounds interesting. I might go get it out of the library, once I'm finished with the Twilight series.dragonheart wrote:The Host is a completely different series by Stephanie Meyers, with new characters and a whole different story plot.ShipOfFools wrote:What exactly is The Host about? Not sure if it's worth owning, though.
