Its drying up, I just saw a car go by and it wasnt sliding all over the place. Maybe I can get a haircut, I need one bad. Im afraid when they come around to give the rabies shots, they might shoot me instead of the dog.

Dont plan on doing much today, do laundry and convert a bunch of e books from PDF to text so they work on my reader.

What kind of a party is a Paella party? Ive been to a lot of different kind of parties, but thats a new one on me.

I dont plan on doing much. Wash clothes, maybe go to the store.

B.H., I first had the dish " Paella " many years ago when we were in Spain, where it originated in Valencia...

It's basically a seafood, meat, poultry dish w/veggies such as Artichoke hearts, peas, red peppers, onion, garlic, etc., all on a bed of Saffron infused rice...

It is cooked in a special flat pan ( which enables the bottom layer of rice to get crispy/crunchy ) called a " Paellera "...
Ingredients can range from Shrimp, Chicken, Rabbit, Snails, Mussels, Chorizo, Lobster, Clams, Crab, Lobster, etc..

The dish is said to be a perfect union between two cultures from Spain, the Romans for the pan, and the Arabs who brought rice...

When I lived in Mexico City a friend of mine held " Paella Parties " every Sunday at her home...at the time there were Restaurants devoted to ONLY Paella.......it was a takeout place that for a small deposit allowed you to bring the HUGE pan home and return it the next day.....( we were never less than 20 ppl )

I'll never forget the excitement when her husband walked through the door w/the steaming hot " Paellera " as big as a queen sized bed
